Summary:
Coach Michael is a tenured Social Studies teacher at Pearl River High School, entering into his 10th year of teaching in the District and 16th year teaching overall.

Coach Mike is entering into his 17th year as a high school football coach. This is his 4th year as the Head Coach of the  Varsity Program. He previously was the head coach of the Junior Varsity football team for three seasons and was an assistant on the varsity under former Pirates head coach Mark Travaglino for one season.  In addition to coaching at Pearl River, he has coached for 9 years in the New York Catholic High School Football League (CHSFL). Coach Mike has also coached at Archbishop Stepinac in White Plains under Mike O'Donnell, Fordham Preparatory in the Bronx under Pete Gorynski, and at Cardinal Spellman in the Bronx under Dan Eagel. 

Coach Michael played college football at Hamilton College (DIII; NESCAC) in Clinton, NY and high school football at Fordham Preparatory (CHSFL) in the Bronx. His favorite football teams include the New York Jets and the Dallas Cowboys, and the University of Notre Dame. While he is an ardent fan of the Fighting Irish, he also loves watching the speed and agility of the SEC teams such as Alabama, LSU, Florida and Missouri because of how they run the Spread Offense. His favorite current player is Nick Mangold, the center for the New York Jets. His favorite all-time player is Emmitt Smith, the former running back for the Dallas Cowboys.

Coach Michael is married with 1 child and currently resides in New York.
